Information Security Officer

Job description:
The Information Security Officer (ISO) is responsible for performing security checks and the information resources. The information security officer ensures that security risks are identified,
assessed and accurately reported. In addition, the Information Security Officer is responsible for ensuring local procedures and activities in accordance with all requirements of laws, regulations and internal policy frameworks. The Information Security Officer acts as the center for information security and has an advisory role and acts as a focal point when it comes to security compliance related activities and responsibilities.

Tasks:

• Maintaining information security with the underlying policy documents and procedures standards and guidelines of the Kersten Group;
• Developing, maintaining and adjusting the information security strategy program;
• Ensuring administrative, physical and technical security measures to protect the information assets of the Kersten Group against internal and external threats;
• Identifying, introducing and implementing appropriate procedures with the necessary checks and balances to regularly test security;
• Carrying out annual evaluations and audits involving both the internal business partners in the organization when external sources are involved;
• Installing, modifying, improving and maintaining data system security software;
• Assisting in research, development, communication and maintenance in collaboration with the IT department on the enforcement of IT security architecture, policies, procedures, solutions and – standards.

Job requirements:

• HBO in information and communication technology or equivalent;
• 3-4 years of work experience in a similar position as Information Security;
• Knowledge of ICT system Management;
• Knowledge of ITIL and COBIT processes;
• Knowledge of ISO 27001;
• Knowledge of GDPR;
• Knowledge and experience with System network security management and maintenance;
• Knowledge of ICT procedures and products;
• Being able to organize well and set priorities in line with deadlines.
